Origin: Subscapular fossa of the Scapula

Insertion: Lesser tuberosity of the Humerus and capsule of the Glenohumeral Joint

Function: Internal rotation, adduction and flexion at the shoulder along with other

Muscles which produce shoulder Internal (medial) Rotation

Muscles which produce shoulder Adduction

Muscles which produce shoulder Flexion

Nerve: Upper Subscapular Nerve and Lower Subscapular Nerve

Artery: Lateral thoracic artery and Subscapular artery
