Delayed Presentation Discussion

Delayed Presentation: Voluntary delays in evaluation for a medical problem may represent suboptimal interest or priorities regarding personal health. This increases the chances that the patient will have difficulty complying with treatment recommendations for a variety of reasons. Additionally, the optimum window of opportunity for treatment may no longer be available, increasing the chances of unfavorable results of treatment.
