History of repeated disability Discussion

History of repeated new employment/injury/long disability: It is my impression that patients who have had two or more episodes of lengthy injury - related disability are at greater risk for having delayed, incomplete or temporary recovery in the context of any other compensated disabling medical problem. The reasons for this are probably multifactorial, and not necessarily related to malingering.
