Superficial radial nerve repair therapy

3 weeks:

The postoperative dressing is removed.

A Wrist Immobilization splint is applied in neutral position for continual wear.

Active and Passive Range of Motion exercises are initiated to all digits.

6 weeks:

The splint is discontinued.

Active and Passive Range of Motion exercises are initiated to the wrist. Scar massage is initiated as soon as sutures are removed.

6 - 18 weeks:

Sensory reeducation/desensitization is initiated.
