A Wrist and Thumb Static splint is applied for continual wear for 3-6 weeks. in the following position:
- Wrist: Neutral
- Thumb CMC: 45 degrees of palmar and radial abduction
- Thumb MCP: 10 degrees flexion
- Thumb IP: do not immobilize
